In January she had her first UK number one single ’Love Don’t Cost A Thing’. In April the ’Play’ single was number 3. In November the US number 1 single ’I’m Real’ went to number 4 and stayed in the UK top forty for an incredible 10 weeks. Before Christmas she performed for US Troops at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
